About the role
The Sr. Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing project management. Incumbents develop and implement successful marketing applications, marketing programs, oversee marketing events and coordination, as well as eBusiness project management. Responsible for all processes and procedures relating to the pre-authorization, development and production of marketing projects.
To Be Successful as the Senior Partner Marketing Manager , You Will:
- Immerse yourself in the partner ecosystem, understanding Insight’s goals and the strategic direction of our partnerships across multiple technology vendors.
- Understand Insight’s business, our objectives, and how partners can contribute to mutual success.
- Work closely with partner management and alliance teams to develop strategic, data-driven marketing strategies and plans aligned with business goals.
- Provide strong communication and strategic leadership—you must clearly articulate vision, set expectations, and inspire confidence while aligning team goals with business objectives.
- Have a coaching mindset—effective leaders build trust, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth through guidance and adaptability in a fast-changing marketing landscape.
- Collaborate with campaign teams to develop, pitch, and maintain partner campaigns and programs, while regularly reporting on performance and ROI.
- Measure the success of marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for optimization based on analytics and market insights.
- Ensure proper execution of all activities, including gathering proof of performance post-campaign.
As a Senior Partner Marketing Manager, You Will:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, career development, and performance management.
- Guide and coach the team to master partner collaboration, develop high-impact marketing programs, and actively advocate for partner success within Insight.
- Work with the team to develop strategic marketing plans for our partners, with a focus on strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Work with key stakeholders and your team to support comprehensive, multi-channel demand generation campaigns to grow the company’s business.
- Lead technology partner relationships from a marketing and programs perspective, including providing updates on marketing initiatives and campaign results, and facilitating ongoing meetings with external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Uphold brand standards and guidelines to maintain consistency across all marketing materials, while refreshing and maintaining content on partner-related internal pages.
- Collaborate with the events team on planning and execution of flagship events, ensuring they align with organizational goals and partner strategies.
- Identify and drive the creation of compelling client success stories that showcase the value of our solutions and partnerships.
- Analyze competitor activity, industry trends, and market shifts to inform and enhance marketing strategy.
- Organize and conduct training sessions to empower team members and enhance their skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or similar post-graduate education preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in marketing or product management within a Business-to-Business organization, with a focus on technology or channel partnerships.
- Proven experience managing a team of marketing professionals or cross-functional project teams.
- Technology marketing experience required; channel/partner marketing experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Ability to design and execute integrated marketing programs across multiple channels, leveraging CRM/Digital Marketing tools, analytics, and budget management.
- Results-Oriented Decision Making: Proven track record in meeting deadlines, managing complex projects, and adapting strategies based on results and market conditions.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Relationship Building: Highly collaborative work style with experience in matrixed organizations and partner ecosystems.
- Operational Excellence: Ability to implement and refine processes that enhance quality and efficiency in marketing execution.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how partner strategies align with corporate goals and revenue growth.
- People Management: Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing direct reports, fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Innovation & Creativity: Ability to stay ahead of marketing trends and introduce new approaches while maintaining brand integrity.
