Surgical Vet Tech - Flagstaff (Relief Shifts Only)

• Previous Veterinary Hospital experience (required)
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) would be helpful
• Weekday availability

Duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Intake/Discharge of surgical patients
• Ability to acquire accurate vitals
• Blood draws
• Catheter Placement
• Drawing, logging and administration of controlled drugs
• Intubation
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Medical record keeping
• Post Op care
• Cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments
• Be able to lift up 50lbs
• Can stand on your feet for long stretches of time.

Our Flagstaff Hospital has 1 Doctor support by 5 technicians working in close proximity. We are a fast-paced facility performing 15-20 surgeries per day including S/N, dentals, mass removals, cystotomy, amputations, cherry eye, etc. You will need to be able to move quickly and stay focused.
