What You'll Do
- Assist and remove sheared post from the T-Post line
- Crop shears the ends of the T-Stock to ensure highest quality
- Utilizes straightener and visually evaluates straightness of bar, making adjustments as needed
- Move materials and supplies as required using forklifts
- Ensure the quality of sheared posts
- Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
- Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures
- Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area
- Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE
- Be alert of unsafe conditions at all times and report them immediately
- All other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Able to stand for up to 12 hours and perform frequent physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, and reaching to work with equipment throughout the shift.
- Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
- Ability to work overtime as required, including planned schedules and unplanned emergency situations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
