Job Overview:
We are seeking an R&O FAA Test Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, assembly, and rework of electrical and electronic aerospace components. This position is ideal for candidates with electronics manufacturing, testing, soldering, or electromechanical experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform disassembly, assembly, rework, and testing of electrical/electronic equipment
• Test and troubleshoot digital and analog circuitry using manual and automated test equipment
• Read schematics and understand circuit functionality
• Perform maintenance and alteration tasks according to FAA regulations and manufacturer instructions
• Operate environmental test chambers and related testing equipment
• Record maintenance and testing work accurately on required documentation
• Follow written and verbal instructions, specifications, and procedures
• Support production schedules including overtime, weekends, or additional hours when needed
• Maintain clean and organized workstations while following safety standards and company procedures
• Assist with efficiency improvements, 6S initiatives, and cross-functional department support
• Complete required training to maintain technical knowledge and job performance standards

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0–2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or testing environment preferred
• Soldering experience required
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Physical Requirements:
• Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Frequent fine finger and hand manipulation using both hands
• Ability to push/pull carts and mobile tables
• Occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, and lifting above shoulders
• Exposure to manufacturing environments including noise, equipment, and chemicals
