Construction Project Coordinator LHH Recruitment is partnering with a construction company in North Phoenix who is looking for a project coordinator to join their small team. This is a fully onsite role working directly alongside the company owners in a small, close-knit office environment located in their casita. The salary range is between $65,000-$80,000.
The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced construction setting. Strong administrative coordination skills, job costing knowledge, and payroll experience are highly valued.
- Coordinate and support day-to-day construction project operations
- Assist with project scheduling, documentation, tracking, and communication
- Maintain project files, contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and related documentation
- Support job costing activities and monitor project expenses
- Process payroll and assist with timesheet review and tracking
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Track project progress and help ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with change orders, permits, bid documents, and project reporting
- Support the owners directly with administrative and operational tasks
- Maintain accurate records and ensure organization across multiple active projects
- Previous experience in construction coordination, project administration, or construction office support required
- Experience with job costing and payroll processing strongly preferred
- Experience using Bluebeam and/or Procore preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and follow-through skills
- Comfortable working in a small, owner-operated environment
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction-related software systems
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
