Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic evaluations, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions, either in collaboration with a physician or autonomously (as permitted by your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding preventive care, health promotion, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice
• Engaging in monitoring and managing chronic care follow-ups with patients
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care

Educational Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
