Pathways Preschool is a private school inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and is family-owned, and directed by, Dr. Rosalind Schoppet. In addition, Pathways has an amazing staff and wonderful parents and students who are supportive and kind.

Pathways Preschool is seeking a responsible, capable, motivated, dependable, friendly, and caring preschool lead teacher to join our team as a full-time lead teacher. As a preschool lead teacher at Pathways Preschool, you will become a valuable member of our family, be treated with respect, and be given the support needed for success.

Pathways Preschool provides every lead teacher with continuous training to meet their needs, including individual and group professional development more than once a week as well as several built-in, paid full-day, professional development sessions throughout the year. The lead teacher also can attend professional development at a Reggio Emilia school in Scottsdale to learn more about Reggio Emilia.

• Pay determined by experience and education. Pay range is $17-20.

Preschool Lead Teacher Requirements:

• Fingerprint Clearance Card and Criminal Background Check.
• Preschool Teaching Experience.
• High School Diploma or Higher.
• Proficient in Reading and Writing .

Preschool Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the assistant teacher to ensure safety and care for each child's individual needs.
• Friendly to all and maintain relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Maintain excellent attendance.
• Comply with school and licensing regulations.
• Prepare lesson plans, documentation, and newsletters.
• Ensure the classroom and school environment is safe and clean.
• Knowledgeable about licensing regulations, milestones, and standards.
• Utilize our school-wide Procare app system to post and communicate with parents regularly.
