Physical Therapist

Our client, an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic, needs a Physical Therapist to join their team of clinicians. This clinic serves patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The practice emphasizes evidence-based treatment, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to achieve optimal outcomes. Average caseload is 10-12 patients per day with 45-minute treatment sessions.

The clinic maintains a supportive environment where therapists have autonomy in treatment planning and access to continuing education opportunities. The ownership group is expanding with plans to open additional locations, creating advancement opportunities for therapists interested in leadership or specialization. New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive mentorship from experienced clinicians.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
  • Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities
  • Educate patients on condition management, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records
  • Communicate with referring physicians regarding patient progress and treatment plans
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment approaches as needed
  • Maintain treatment area and ensure equipment is properly maintained
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic meetings
  • Mentor physical therapy students during clinical rotations as needed

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from CAPTE-accredited program
  • Current Arizona PT license or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but will train new graduates
  • Strong manual therapy skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare team members
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues
  • Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
