Position Summary
As a Landscape Maintenance Laborer , you will be part of our maintenance crew working under the guidance of a Crew Leader or Supervisor. Your role is to support the daily operation of landscape maintenance tasks — helping keep properties healthy, clean, and attractive.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general landscape maintenance duties including mowing, edging, weed control, trimming, pruning, and debris removal.
Assist with irrigation system checks and basic maintenance (e.g., checking for leaks, cleaning nozzles).
Help with seasonal and special cleanups, such as monsoon debris removal or community clean-up events.
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and supplies to/from job sites.
Use hand tools and powered equipment safely and correctly.
Follow safety protocols, including use of proper PPE, to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any site issues or maintenance concerns (plant health, irrigation problems, hazards) to supervisor.
Assist in maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and inventory (cleaning, basic upkeep).
Work collaboratively with other crew members to meet daily goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in landscape maintenance is preferred but not required — we are open to training motivated candidates.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (especially hot climates, as Tucson/southern Arizona is involved).
Physically fit; able to lift heavy equipment, bend, kneel, and carry materials.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in landscaping.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions from supervisors.
Good communication skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Resumen del Puesto
Como Trabajador de Mantenimiento de Paisajismo , serás parte de nuestra cuadrilla de mantenimiento trabajando bajo la guía de un Líder de Cuadrilla o Supervisor. Tu función es apoyar las operaciones diarias de las tareas de mantenimiento del paisaje, ayudando a mantener las propiedades saludables, limpias y atractivas.
Responsabilidades Clave
Realizar tareas generales de mantenimiento del paisaje, incluyendo cortar césped, perfilar bordes, control de malezas, recorte, poda y remoción de escombros.
Asistir con revisiones del sistema de irrigación y mantenimiento básico (por ejemplo, revisar fugas, limpiar boquillas).
Apoyar en limpiezas estacionales o especiales, como la remoción de escombros después de los monzones o eventos comunitarios de limpieza.
Cargar, descargar y transportar materiales, herramientas y suministros hacia y desde los sitios de trabajo.
Usar herramientas manuales y equipo motorizado de manera segura y correcta.
Seguir los protocolos de seguridad, incluido el uso adecuado de EPP (equipo de protección personal), para mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro.
Reportar al supervisor cualquier problema en el sitio o inquietudes de mantenimiento (salud de plantas, problemas de irrigación, peligros).
Ayudar a mantener los vehículos, el equipo y el inventario de la compañía (limpieza, mantenimiento básico).
Trabajar de manera colaborativa con otros miembros de la cuadrilla para cumplir con las metas diarias.
Calificaciones y Habilidades
Experiencia previa en mantenimiento de paisajes preferida, pero no requerida — estamos dispuestos a capacitar a candidatos motivados.
Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre en diversas condiciones climáticas (especialmente en climas cálidos como Tucson y el sur de Arizona).
Buena condición física; capaz de levantar equipo pesado, agacharse, arrodillarse y cargar materiales.
Conocimiento básico de herramientas manuales y motorizadas utilizadas en paisajismo.
Persona responsable, puntual y capaz de seguir instrucciones de los supervisores.
Buenas habilidades de comunicación.
Actitud positiva y disposición para aprender.
Mentalidad orientada a la seguridad.
