Radiologic Technologist

**Responsibilities** Responsible for performing all aspects of general, neuro, and interventional radiography in multiple settings on multiple patient types. Settings include but are not limited to the ED, OR, IR, inpatient and outpatient, with little or no supervision. + Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. + Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc). + Always produces high quality films. Accurately marks radiographs with R's and L's, supine and upright (ifappropriate); and assures that patient information is clearly visible. + Competent in one or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology (fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma) **Qualifications** **Minimum** High School Diploma/GED Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist Program American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Medical Radiographer: AZ (MRAD:AZ) N/A upon hire Required and Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) N/A upon hire Required and Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) N/A upon hire Required and Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT) N/A upon hire Required or Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry (RTBD) **Preferred** Six months radiology experience **Overview** At **Dignity Health** , living our values means bringing passion into action every day.
