Industrial Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY
AGC is seeking a skilled and hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician with solid experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance. This role ensures smooth equipment and facility operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of systems including motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and electrical panels. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment (pumps, motors, fans, conveyors, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and service electrical systems including panels, wiring, and controls.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on plant and facility equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment, complete pre-operation inspections.
• Fabricate, weld, or modify parts, brackets, and components when required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work and storage areas in line with 5S standards.
• Accurately document all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
• Support equipment installations, relocations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform facility upkeep, general safety tasks, and other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems, motors, and mechanical drives.
• Preferred: knowledge of motor controls, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE usage.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
• Forklift experience preferred (in-house certification provided if needed).

SAFETY & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Compliance with all AGC and OSHA safety protocols is mandatory.
• Training and certification will be provided for job-specific tasks and equipment.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs.; occasionally work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Frequent use of hands and tools for repairs, installations, and adjustments.
