Pharmacist
Exceptional Community Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join our established pharmacy team. We're currently offering a $10K sign on bonus for a qualified full-time Pharmacist.

Full-Service Pharmacy - Our pharmacy department provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care from admission through discharge, plus emergency and ambulatory services. You’ll work with electronic medical records, bedside medication verification systems, and Omnicell automated dispensing technology. - Interpret and clarify medication orders across all therapeutic areas
- Provide drug information and clinical consultation during emergency codes
- Monitor drug therapy and recommend therapeutic alternatives
- Compound, label, and package medications following professional protocols
- Manage controlled substance security and documentation
- Maintain Omnicell automated dispensing systems
- Ensure accurate medication billing and charge capture
- Counsel patients and families on medication use, side effects, and safety
- Support nursing staff with ongoing pharmaceutical education
- Attend codes to assist clinical staff with medication dosing and preparation
Required:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an AACP-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Current Arizona Pharmacist license upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
