Corporate M&A Associate (4+ Years) – Phoenix, AZ
Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a talented Corporate M&A Associate to join its growing Phoenix office . This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and complex corporate transactions within a collaborative national platform.
Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate definitive and ancillary transaction documents for mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures
Manage due diligence processes and coordinate transaction workflows
Advise clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including financings, entity formation, governance, and commercial agreements
Work closely with partners and clients throughout the full lifecycle of transactions
Handle multiple matters simultaneously while taking on increasing responsibility and client interaction
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
4+ years of transactional experience with a focus on M&A and complex corporate transactions
Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents and managing due diligence processes
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
MBA or background in finance or accounting preferred
Arizona Bar admission required
