Starting Pay Rate: $25-30/hour

About Us

Beringer Fine Home is a Design/Build firm specializing in residential design and construction.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a self-motivated CAD Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD or SketchUp , experienced in residential construction , and capable of independently assisting in producing turn-key drawing sets based on direction from our architectural design team. Familiarity with Scottsdale-based projects is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise residential building plans and technical drawings using AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Translate architectural concepts and direction into complete, permit-ready drawing sets.
• Collaborate remotely with architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Maintain organized digital archives and version control.
• Deliver turn-key drawing packages with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp (required).
• Strong understanding of residential design principles and construction documentation.
• Experience working in or with teams based in Scottsdale, AZ (preferred).
• Proven experience in residential construction and familiarity with building systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Slack).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Scottsdale zoning and building codes.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering.
• Familiarity with permit-ready drawing standards and construction detailing.
