Logistics Coordinator/Specialist LHH Recruitment is working with a transportation and logistics services company near Chandler. This organization is looking for a full time logistics coordinator/specialist to join the team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The hourly rate is between $24/hr-$26/hr.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience coordinating and routing shipments across multiple transportation modes.
- Coordinate and route shipments across various transportation modes including:
- LTL
- FTL
- Air (commercial and passenger)
- Flatbed
- Parcel
- Dedicated truck
- Schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring on-time performance
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status
- Monitor freight movement and resolve transportation issues proactively
- Maintain accurate shipment records, tracking updates, and transportation documentation
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation regulations
- Work closely with internal departments to support customer and operational needs
- Assist with rate quotes, shipment planning, and logistics coordination
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatching required
- Hands-on experience routing shipments across multiple transportation modes
- Strong understanding of freight operations and shipment coordination
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with transportation management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
