Qualifications
- 1-3 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Familiarity with standard accounting procedures
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to commute to the Corporate Capture office
Schedule/Details
- Expected hours: 14 hrs per week on 2-3 days
- Pay Range: $14.70 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Manage weekly bookkeeping tasks in Xero, an accounting software
- Handle job costing, tracking income and expenses by project
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Support CEO with administrative tasks and special projects
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
- Learn payroll processing (ADP experience a plus!)
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Corporate Capture is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This onsite position will work directly with our CEO to manage weekly accounting operations for a growing company. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions. Our ideal candidate has a background in bookkeeping, accounting or finance and is familiar with accounting software packages, like Xero.
