Job Summary
We have an immediate opening for a dependable and passionate line cook. This is for our full service restaurant location called Tohono Chul Garden Bistro. It is located on the northwest side of town off of Oracle Road and Ina Road just outside Tohono Chul botanical gardens
The Garden Bistro is a brunch restaurant open every day from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Now looking to interview professional individuals with a positive attitude and a passion for all things culinary!.

Candidates must have some experience and knowledge of food preparation and the culinary industry. Even though this is primarily a 8am to 4pm position, Applicants must have adequate transportation and open availability.

In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. If you have a passion for creating meals that “wow,” we want to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
• Follow all food safety regulations
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned by the sous and executive chefs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
