Senior Accounting Manager – Family Office & Multi-Entity Portfolio
Kai Entreprises Family Office – Arizona
Location: Office is on the Northwest side of Tucson | Type: Full-Time
Salary band: $95,000 -105,000.00
- Lead monthly close process, strict adherence to closing deadlines
- Oversee real estate portfolio accounting across property types
- Manage and actively perform full-cycle accounting for multiple entities, including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, and consolidations
- Prepare and organize financial statements, trial balances, and supporting schedules for multiple entities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Manage intercompany transactions and joint venture accounting across a multi-entity family office structure, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and appropriate treatment across entities
- Manage and oversee cash flow and liquidity across multiple entities, including intercompany transfers, funding needs, and daily cash positioning
- Serve as the primary liaison with external CPAs, managing communication and coordination for tax filings and audits
- Manage and mentor accounting team (4 staff directly or indirectly involved with accounting operations)
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
- Provide financial insights to leadership and support strategic decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA preferred)
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience; 3+ years supervisor experience
- Experience in real estate and multi-entity environments required
- Property management accounting preferred)
- Family office or closely held business experience preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP, ERP systems, and financial reporting
