Work You'll Do The AI Solutions Leader in Deloitte's Human Capital Consulting HC Forward will be tasked with supporting the sales, solution design, development and deployment of AI products and platforms across Human Capital Solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in selling products, services, and consulting within the commercial marketplace.

Additionally, the AI Solutions Leader will lead sales and delivery of client engagements, while also designing and delivering architecture for complex AI and engineering problems related to HR applications. They will work cross-functionally with data scientists, DevOps and data engineers, project managers and industry experts to develop robust AI platforms and solutions.

Strategic Business Development
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor landscapes and identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account growth plans, manage pipelines and drive deal closures.
  • Articulate Deloitte's differentiators and align offerings to evolving client needs.
Technology Architecture & Solutions Design
  • Work with clients to design, develop and deploy technology architecture to support AI, machine learning and automation applications.
  • Define and oversee the AI/ML/GenAI technical direction and architectural vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and digital transformation efforts.
  • Design and lead development on scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions that support both client business as well as AI/GenAI use cases.
  • Participate in architectural and deployment discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful scale, security and high availability.
Technical Skills & Engineering
  • Leverage advanced technical skills in modern data architecture, data science engineering, data transformation and management of structured and unstructured data sources using cloud computing or on-prem technologies.
  • Adopt the best engineering practices in automation, AI/GenAI infrastructure and design patterns.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with Enterprise, Application, Data & DevOps Architects, Data scientists, Machine Learning & GenAI Engineers, and Business teams to pilot use cases and discuss architectural design.
  • Gather inputs from multiple stakeholders to align technical implementation with existing and future requirements.
  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, lead proposal development, and contribute to pricing strategies.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
  • Be responsible for the successful execution of AI-powered solutions using agile methodology.
  • Audit AI tools and practices across data, models and software engineering, focusing on continuous improvement and feedback mechanisms.
Risk Management and Ethical Considerations
  • Work closely with security and risk leaders to foresee and mitigate risks, ensuring ethical AI implementation and compliance with upcoming regulations.
  • Address potential issues such as training data poisoning, AI model theft, and adversarial samples.
Product Strategy and Business Understanding
  • Help AI product managers and business stakeholders understand the potential and limitations of AI when planning new products.
  • Break down client problems and bring an understanding of leading technology, analytics methods, tools, and operating model approaches.
Mentorship & Team Development
  • Mentor, motivate and coach junior members on technical best practices and inspire professional development.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in product sales, software engineering, technology architecture, or data engineering roles, with at least 3 years directly leading AI/ML solution sales, design and deployment
  • 8+ years of experience leading a technical team (both onshore and offshore)
  • 2+ years of experience architecting, building and deployment machine learning, deep learning or GenAI solutions in production environments
  • 8+ years of experience with application analysis, design and delivery
  • 8+ years of managing end-to-end lifecycle: requirements, architecture, engineering, deployment and ongoing optimization
  • Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and strong familiarity with relevant AI/ML tools, frameworks and automation platforms
  • Ability to travel 25- 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte's consulting offices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degrees such as master's are preferred
  • Certifications in AI/ML technologies and Cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, or Azure Solutions Architect
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $167,000 to $307,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
