About the Role

Right at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one care for a client with advanced personal care needs. This position is ideal for caregivers who are confident with hands-on care, safe transfers, and specialized caregiving skills while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home.

Description

As a caregiver, you'll provide personalized care that promotes dignity, safety, and quality of life. This position includes personal care, mobility assistance, companionship, and specialized care such as Hoyer lift transfers and tube feeding. You will also monitor the client's condition and communicate any changes to the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist with repositioning, range of motion, and mobility support.
• Prepare meals (when appropriate) and provide medication reminders.
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's care.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation after each shift.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience required.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and tube feeding strongly preferred.
• Experience caring for clients with high-acuity or total-care needs preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and reposition clients.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background screening.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
