CIVANA is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to lead efforts in expanding our Corporate Wellness and Retreat Group business. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities aligned with our mission to deliver transformative wellness experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify ideal partners weekly using tools like Sales Navigator; build and maintain a robust prospect database.
Develop and nurture relationships with corporate wellness leaders, retreat planners, and wellness professionals.
Lead targeted outreach campaigns, craft customized messaging, and engage with prospects via social and direct channels.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads and deal execution.
Create budgeting tools and proposals, manage CRM data, and oversee the client transition through internal systems (Opera, Pipedrive).
Support specialty initiatives such as FAMs, site visits, and hosted client events.
Goals & Expectations:
50 new prospect connections/week
5 return-on-research (ROR) leads/week
20 follow-ups/week
1 new deal/week
$150,000 in quarterly revenue generation
Required Skills & Experience:
3–5 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in hospitality, wellness, or event/retreat planning
Demonstrated success in lead generation, outbound sales, and relationship cultivation
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Opera) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Strong research, communication, and presentation skills
Comfortable crafting proposals and budgeting tools to support sales efforts
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented
Passion for wellness and experience working with mission-driven brands a plus
