And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Account Executive - National Accounts (Dental & Vision)** **We are seeking qualified candidates across the country for this remote position** Position Summary: The Account Executive - National Accounts (Dental & Vision) at Aetna is responsible for both retaining and expanding relationships with high-profile dental and vision clients. This role blends strategic account management with a growth mindset, ensuring exceptional client retention while proactively identifying and cross-selling additional dental and/or vision benefits. The Account Executive leverages deep healthcare expertise and market insight to deliver innovative solutions and strengthen Aetna's reputation as a trusted partner. Key Responsibilities: * Retain and strengthen relationships with assigned National Account dental and vision clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. * Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell additional dental and/or vision benefits to existing clients. * Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with client goals and Aetna's business objectives. * Serve as a trusted advisor, providing market insights and consultative solutions tailored to client needs. * Analyze utilization and performance data to inform recommendations and interventions. * Coordinate renewals, RFP responses, and stewardship presentations. * Build and maintain productive partnerships with internal teams (underwriting, product, operations, medical account teams) and external partners (clients, consultants, brokers). * Communicate client retention status, risks, and opportunities to management. * Stay current on industry trends and position Aetna as a subject matter expert for clients and partners. Core Competencies & Skills: * Excellent written and verbal communication * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proactive problem-solving and solution orientation * Advanced analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making * Strategic planning and account management expertise * Deep knowledge of dental and vision products and industry trends * Strong negotiation and influencing skills * Ability to develop compelling presentations (PowerPoint proficiency) * Financial acumen, including understanding of pricing and utilization metrics * Collaborative mindset with experience working across functions and with external partners Preferred Experience: * Several years of account management experience in healthcare, preferably with national accounts or public and labor sector clients * Demonstrated success in client retention and growth, including cross-selling within existing accounts * Experience with dental and vision products, including industry regulations and trends * Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans * Familiarity with financial modeling, pricing strategies, and utilization analysis * Experience preparing and delivering client presentations, business reviews, and RFP responses * Track record of effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners (consultants, brokers) Culture & Values Alignment: The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences and thrives in a collaborative, innovative environment. Education & Certifications: * Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience * Active Life, Health, and Accident insurance license required Location & Travel: * Primary location: Remote / Work from Home * Travel required: Up to 35% for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $54,400.00 - $139,240.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
