Service Coordinator

Acara Solutions is looking for a Service Coordinator for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Role Overview

• Serve as APS liaison for residential and some commercial electric service work, coordinating customer requests such as meter installs, upgrades, and service activation from intake through completion.
• Own coordination between customers, field crews, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of service-related projects.
• Support customer intake and service request routing, partnering closely with Customer Project Representatives in a fast-paced service environment.

Role Logistics

• Pay Rate: $28-$33/hour
• Work Location: Deer Valley (DV) - 2124 W Cheryl Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85021
• Work Model: Onsite
• Hours: M-F, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Overtime: ~5 hours/week
• APS Vehicle: Yes - required for job site visits and customer meetings
• Contract Length: 12 months (with possibility of extension)

Job Requirements

Required Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role or construction environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction-related background required, utility exposure preferred.
• Proven experience interacting with customers at job/installation sites.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize workload.

Preferred / Valuable Background

• Experience in utilities or field-based trades (e.g., plumbing, roofing, construction services).
• Entry-level project coordination or project management experience (scheduling, prioritization, timelines).
• Basic understanding of electrical systems or willingness to learn (generation to meter concepts).
• Experience coordinating work between customers and field crews on active job sites.
