Delivery Driver/Server: School Meals-(PHX)
Job Description
Job Description
You’re not just dropping off lunch. You’re making sure a kid in Phoenix gets to eat today.
For a lot of Arizona students, the meal we deliver is the most reliable one they’ll get all day, and someone has to make sure it actually gets there. That someone is you. As a Delivery Driver / Server, you’ll start early, hit the road, and pull up to school after school knowing the food behind you is the reason a cafeteria full of kids gets to eat. If you’re dependable, love being on the move, and want a job where simply showing up matters to someone, we want to meet you. Nights and weekends off, every single week.
Before You Apply: What to Expect
We’re upfront so the right people apply and stick around:
- Early starts: your day begins as early as 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- You will spend most of your shift on your feet: loading, driving, unloading, and serving.
- You will regularly lift up to 50 lbs and push or pull carts up to 100 lbs.
- You need reliable transportation to reach our Phoenix kitchen on time every morning before routes leave.
- You must be 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record (insurance requirement).
- This is a school-year role, so hours can drop or pause during school breaks.
Is this the right fit? You’ll thrive here if you are dependable, punctual, enjoy being on the road, and take pride in representing a company well at every stop.
What You’ll Do
- Load and deliver school meals on assigned routes using company vehicles.
- Unload, rotate, and serve meals at school sites while keeping food safe.
- Follow traffic laws, route plans, and company driving and safety policies.
- Complete delivery logs and meal-count records accurately.
- Keep your vehicle clean and report maintenance needs.
- Represent Nutrition One professionally with school staff and students.
What We’re Looking For
- 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record (insurance requirement).
- Food Handler’s Card, or able to obtain within 5 days of hire.
- Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ DPS), required for school-site access.
- At least 6 months of professional driving and 6 months of customer service.
- Reliable transportation to reach our Phoenix kitchen on time every morning.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable using a smartphone (Samsara app).
- Spanish bilingual is a plus.
Why Join Nutrition One?
- Purpose-driven work supporting Arizona schools.
- Nights and weekends off.
- Supportive team environment with growth opportunities.
- Competitive pay with performance-based increases.
If getting kids fed sounds like a morning well spent, hit Apply. We’d love to have you on the road with us.
