• Job Title: Manager | RN – Risk and Compliance (Locum Tenens)
• Location: Peridot, AZ 85542 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Duration: 52-week contract
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour shifts (flexible)
• Setting: On-site at a leading healthcare facility
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,370 - $2,430

Qualifications – Registered Nurse Risk and Compliance

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona RN license preferred)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience
• At least three (3) years of progressive performance improvement or healthcare compliance experience
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), or willingness to obtain certification within one year of hire

Responsibilities – RN Risk and Compliance Manager

• Lead, plan, and coordinate the Risk Management and Compliance Program to minimize risk and reduce liability exposure in the healthcare setting
• Monitor risk management and compliance issues, conduct thorough analysis, and implement corrective action and prevention programs
• Oversee the Compliance program, develop and maintain a written compliance plan, and evaluate its effectiveness annually
• Coordinate clinical and administrative activities to identify, evaluate, and reduce risk of injury and loss
• Develop and apply standards to evaluate hospital performance in risk management activities
• Investigate risk management and compliance issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and support facility risk assessments
• Provide ongoing staff education and development in Risk Management and Compliance processes
• Utilize risk factor data to develop evidence-based patient safety interventions and process improvement strategies
• Facilitate and participate in Performance Improvement teams and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Ensure confidentiality in all Risk Management and Compliance Program activities
• Develop and update policies and procedures based on risk management and compliance analysis
• Promote and support error reporting through a nonpunitive system
