Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients in a Med Surg setting, assessing and monitoring conditions and responding to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and nursing policies
- Perform nursing procedures within scope of practice and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record; ensure accurate and timely communication
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions; prepare patients for procedures as needed
- Contribute to patient safety and quality of care, including care planning, discharge planning, and escalation of concerns per policy

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territories
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within six months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility
- Ability to work in a Med Surg environment within a surgical center setting
