Financial Ops Intermediate
- Process Management: Oversee and execute routine financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, ledger reconciliations, and complex billing inquiries.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify, monitor, and control risks associated with financial activities. Ensure all processes adhere to established regulatory requirements and internal control policies.
- Data Analysis: Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Prepare detailed reports for management to support informed decision-making.
- Member Advocacy: Deliver high-quality service by resolving complex financial issues and providing guidance on financial products and procedures.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new financial systems, automate workflows, and support audit activities.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with financial ERP systems or banking software.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Experience in the military community or a deep understanding of military-specific financial needs.
- Prior experience in a "Sensitive Position" involving the movement of corporate or member funds.
