Summary/Objective of Position:

The role of the Undergraduate/Graduate Research Assistant is to assist the award PI (Dr. Oleksandr Makeyev) in conducting research studies, project activities, and other assigned duties as necessary as well as to offer tutoring services to Diné College students.

• The role of the Undergraduate/Graduate Research Assistant is to assist the award PI (Dr. Oleksandr Makeyev) in conducting research studies, project activities, and other assigned duties as necessary (75%), as well as to offer tutoring services to Diné College students (25%).
• One (1) Undergraduate/Graduate Research Assistant will be compensated $17.00 per hour at 20 hours per week (40 hours per pay period) for academic year 25-26.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Minimum & Preferred:

• Graduate students or undergraduate Honors Scholars in the MS Biology program.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge commensurate with their placement in the graduate or undergraduate Honors Scholars program in the MS Biology program.

Skills:

• Skills commensurate with their placement in the graduate or undergraduate Honors Scholars program in the MS Biology program.

Abilities:

• Abilities commensurate with their placement in the graduate or undergraduate Honors Scholars program in the MS Biology program.

Physical Requirements, Work Environment & Travel:

• Physical requirements and work environments commensurate with their placement in the graduate or undergraduate Honors Scholars program in the MS Biology program.
