- This job is part of the Global Operations Support/System Support Center (SSC) Team, a centralized help desk supporting customer facing airport employees, within the Customer Division.
- Responsible for providing daily communication and engagement support to meet key initiatives intended to engage our internal team members and promote elevated experiences for our front-line airport agents.
What you'll do
- Ensures all Company, department initiatives and/or changes are communicated effectively, timely and consistently
- Communicates relevant information via the SSC Daily five days per week
- Supports changes to department procedures and operational briefs ensuring consistent messaging
- Monitors and updates SSC’s Jetnet page
- Strives to achieve the highest possible level of employee and customer engagement
- Supports operational tasks including taking inbound calls when appropriate
- Collaborates with various internal workgroups related to process changes and initiatives
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Airport, Reservations and/or Operational experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Fluency in QIK and Native Sabre systems
- Strong knowledge of American Airlines produces, policies, departmental specific and operational related airport functions
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment requiring crucial timely notifications
- Ability to support a collaborative and dynamic work environment and adaptive to changes
- Ability to work well within a team office and operational environment
