Tax Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Documentation Specialist to join our compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our interest-bearing consumer deposit accounts by meticulously reviewing and validating critical IRS tax documentation. You will serve as a key point of contact for ensuring all certifications remain current and compliant with federal regulations, directly mitigating risk for both the financial institution and our clients.

salary: $17.27 - $17.28 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include reviewing and validating IRS Form W-8 (Certificate of Foreign Status), IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number) and Signature Cards for interest bearing consumer deposit accounts. Will solicit customers for missing or expired Forms W-8 or W-9.
