Our client, a health rehabilitation hospital is seeking an Admissions Coordinator for a 13- week temp job.
- This is a 13-week contract position.
- 5 days per week, 9am – 5pm.
- The pay rate is $30.00 - $33.00per hour and based on experience.
Job Summary
The Admissions Coordinator facilitates a timely, accurate and effective referral intake as outlined in the admissions workflow process and provides analytical insight into admission data and referral patterns.
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate timely admissions and transfers.
- Maintain accurate records and update patient information in the hospital system.
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations and approvals.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to admissions.
Requirements
Associates degree preferred, high school diploma
Prior hospital admissions experience.
