Position OverviewThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and effectively. This role involves implementing maintenance strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance maintenance operations and reduce waste.
- Develop and oversee maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Technical expertise in machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
