Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Yuma, AZ, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves providing essential speech and language therapy services to students across all grade levels, supporting their communication development and helping them achieve academic success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language assessments and interventions aligned with student IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on student progress and needs
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 school populations in speech-language pathology
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in school-based speech therapy
- Ability to work effectively in a contract position for the current school year
