Team & Role We are searching for an exceptional Recruiter to join the small but mighty Talent Acquisition team at Benepass. You will be the second dedicated recruiting hire, working side-by-side with the Head of Talent Acquisition to build our company as we continue to scale our modern benefits platform. This is a true generalist role, where you will own the full-cycle recruiting process for a diverse range of openings, including key roles across Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance. This role is ideal for a bold, high-agency individual who thrives in the dynamic environment of a startup. We need someone who is self-motivated, operates with a strong sense of urgency, and takes deep ownership of their process. You Will: Manage the end-to-end, full-cycle recruiting process for a varied portfolio of roles, from initial intake meetings to final offer negotiations and onboarding handoff. Act as a trusted talent partner to hiring managers across all departments, providing market insights, managing expectations, and coaching them on best practices for a fair and efficient process. Proactively and creatively source passive candidates using a wide variety of tools and networks, with a focus on identifying and engaging top talent for hard-to-fill and technical roles, especially within Software Engineering. Design and deliver an authentic, high-touch, and candidate-friendly experience that embodies the Benepass culture and prioritizes clear, human communication at every stage. Be a vocal advocate for process efficiency, clean data, and continuous improvement; regularly track key metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize our hiring strategy. Collaborate with the Head of Talent to iterate on our interview frameworks, hiring rubrics, and employer brand messaging to ensure consistency and a high bar for talent. About You A bold, high-agency grinder who is self-motivated and relentlessly drives recruiting processes forward. Consultative and empathetic in managing hiring manager relationships and setting clear expectations. Deeply committed to a candidate-first philosophy, creating genuine connections and an exceptional experience. Resourceful problem-solver who can flex easily between technical, sales, and G&A recruiting priorities. Requirements 3+ years of total full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 1 year of experience recruiting within a high-growth startup environment. A proven track record as a recruiting generalist, successfully hiring for a wide breadth of roles (e.g., Sales, G&A, Product, and/or Engineering). An innate sense of urgency, high agency, and a strong work ethic—you are a self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do next. A philosophical alignment with our belief in creating a genuinely personal and positive candidate experience. Strong proficiency in direct sourcing, Boolean logic, and managing an end-to-end process in an ATS (e.g., Ashby). Deep expertise in building and maintaining strong, consultative relationships with internal hiring managers and cross-functional leaders. Exceptional skills in direct sourcing and pipeline management in a competitive market. Demonstrated experience in technical recruiting, specifically for Software Engineering roles, is preferred. Compensation $80,000 to $100,000 + equity. Benefits 95% coverage of medical, dental, and vision
