Caregiver/ CNA/Care Professional
Job Brief We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will primarily be responsible for assisting our clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and companionship. Our ideal candidates are patient, empathetic, and have a strong desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care. The role requires a hands-on approach, as well as the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
- keep track of medical appointments
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document and report any changes in client’s health status
- Ensure safety and well-being of the client at all times
- Comply with health and safety regulations and protocols
- Must be able to pass a background check & drug screen
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Certified in first aid and CPR
- Evidence of freedom from infectious tuberculosis
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Highly empathetic and understanding
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Additional certification in a health care field is a plus
