Make a meaningful impact in a dynamic high school environment as a Co-Teacher for Math. This full-time contract opportunity begins in early August and runs through late May 2027, supporting students with diverse learning needs. You'll work collaboratively in a designated math class, providing both subject-matter expertise and specialized instruction within a supportive, inclusive setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate
• Valid Special Education Licensure
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (current/eligible)
• Classroom experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably within mathematics
• Strong understanding of both general education math curriculum and Special Education best practices
• Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Co-teach a designated math class within a special education setting, implementing differentiated strategies
• Collaborate closely with a general education math teacher to adapt instruction and assessments
• Develop and monitor IEPs, providing ongoing support to ensure student progress
• Foster engagement, motivation, and self-confidence among students with varying academic needs
• Meet regularly with instructional teams and parents/guardians to align on student goals
• Actively contribute to a respectful, welcoming, and growth-focused school culture
