Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is in need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to come in and help clean up and get their books up to date from the past 6-9 months! This is a contract position, which could be about 2-3 months to help get them on track, and located near the Southwest side of Tucson, near the Kino Ball Park and the freeway. This could be done on a full-time basis, or part-time, depending on your availability and schedule. Responsibilities: - Organize and update financial records to address an 8-10 month backlog. - Accurately code transactions to the appropriate chart of accounts. - Perform detailed bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records. - Ensure compliance with standard accounting practices and procedures. - Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data. - Prepare reports summarizing financial activities as needed. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and general bookkeeping practices. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Expertise in performing bank reconciliations and coding transactions. - Familiarity with maintaining and updating charts of accounts. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
