We’re looking for someone who can jump into plan production, support active projects, and contribute to grading and utility design using AutoCAD Civil 3D. This is a unique role that gives the individual the ability to engineer their career trajectory towards either project management OR technical lead roles.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with project setup, plan production, and coordination across internal teams

• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and edit residential subdivision design plans

• Support utility layouts, grading, corridors, and surface creation

• Participate in internal reviews and help troubleshoot design issues

• Track project milestones, formatting plans and preparing for submittals

• Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, and Surveyors to ensure timely delivery

• Participate in a structured, team-based workflow with a strong mentoring culture

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in civil design (land development or residential subdivision)

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, corridors, surfaces, plan production)

• Local experience with municipalities strongly preferred

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch errors during plan review

• Initiative, independent thinking, and willingness to problem solve

• Excellent communication skills and a “team-first” mindset

• Must be local to the Phoenix metro – no relocation or sponsorship offered

• Preference given to those pursuing PE licensure or long-term technical leadership growth

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $85,000–$100,000/year DOE (W2 hourly, OT eligible after 40 hrs)

• Semi-annual bonuses
