Occupational Therapy Assistant

A Skilled Nursing Facility in Peoria, Arizona is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our skilled therapy team. This role provides a patient-centered approach in a 39-bed skilled facility , offering minimum 30-minute sessions five times a week . Rehab techs are available to assist with patient transport and scheduled therapy sessions for all disciplines. The work schedule follows normal weekday hours, and full benefits are offered with full-time employment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Provide direct patient care , including therapeutic exercises and activities
• Help patients improve motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities
• Assist with the development and implementation of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist regarding treatment outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment
• Fingerprint clearance card required
