Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Current, valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or educational setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, school documentation, and multi-disciplinary collaboration
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt and support students with diverse learning and physical needs
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach to working in school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and ongoing therapy for students with a variety of needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consultations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders
- Consult with teachers and families to ensure strategies are carried out in classrooms and at home
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed to maximize outcomes
- Support and educate staff and students on adaptive equipment and technology
