Salary: $90,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Luxury Lodging Option Available

About the Opportunity
We are launching a new category of senior living—a luxury boutique wellness residence designed to redefine aging through hospitality, connection, preventative wellness, and elevated daily living.
Unlike traditional assisted living facilities, our model is intentionally intimate, serving up to five residents in a beautifully designed luxury residential setting. Our mission is to provide personalized support, exceptional care, healthy nutrition, meaningful engagement, and holistic wellness-focused living in a warm, relationship-centered environment.
This is a rare opportunity to become the founding operational leader of a highly differentiated senior living concept with significant long-term growth potential.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director who also holds a current Arizona Assisted Living Manager Certification to help build and lead our Scottsdale luxury wellness residence from the ground up.
The ideal candidate is a visionary leader who understands Arizona assisted living operations and compliance while bringing a hospitality-driven mindset to resident care and service. This individual will play a key role in shaping the culture, systems, team, and resident experience from day one.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to build something meaningful, innovative, and impactful while becoming part of a long-term vision for elevated senior living.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the residence
- Develop and implement operational systems, procedures, and workflows during the launch phase
- Maintain exceptional resident care, service, and hospitality standards
- Lead staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and team development
- Ensure smooth and efficient household and facility operations
Licensing & Compliance
- Serve as the designated Arizona Licensed Assisted Living Manager
- Ensure compliance with all Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) regulations and licensing requirements
- Maintain policies, procedures, documentation, and training records
- Coordinate inspections and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
- Implement best practices for resident safety and quality assurance
Resident Experience
- Create and maintain a luxury, relationship-centered resident experience
- Support wellness-focused programming, activities, and lifestyle initiatives
- Foster strong relationships with residents and their families
- Ensure individualized care and personalized service for every resident
Team Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise caregivers and support staff
- Foster a positive, mission-driven workplace culture
- Lead with professionalism, accountability, empathy, and integrity
- Promote teamwork and a high standard of service excellence
Growth & Vision
- Partner closely with ownership throughout the startup and growth phases
- Help establish brand standards and operational excellence
- Participate in family consultations, tours, and occupancy growth initiatives
- Contribute innovative ideas to help redefine boutique senior living
- Support future expansion opportunities as the organization grows
Qualifications
Required
- Current Arizona Assisted Living Manager Certification
- Experience in assisted living, senior care, healthcare, hospitality, or a related leadership role
- Strong understanding of Arizona assisted living regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a startup-style environment and wear multiple hats
- CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start date
Preferred
- Luxury hospitality, concierge, resort, or private service experience
- Background or interest in wellness, holistic health, or lifestyle medicine
- Experience launching, building, or scaling operations
- Healthcare administration or nursing background
- Memory care experience
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or luxury service environments
