Experienced Automotive Service Writer
We are a mom and pop AAA Approved automobile repair facility. We are hiring for an Experienced Service Writer.
We are a five days a week business with all weekends and national holidays off. Benefits:- We offer IRAs, Incentive Program and health insurance.
Duties (which will include training) will include receiving customers in a professional manner
- Entering customer and vehicle information into the mitchell OnDemand program, scheduling work and assigning jobs to technicians, monitoring and updating status on the bolt on technology program, editing data and photos on the digital vehicle inspection report (DVI report)
- Sending email and/or text DVI reports to customers to prepare them for follow up estimates on recommended maintenance and repairs, messaging customers, preparing estimates for customers, using approved sales skills presenting the customers with clear and concise explanations of the scope of work needed, be it maintenance or repair, closing the sale, always maintaining or improving profit guidelines
- Keeping customers informed of the status of their vehicle, following up on estimates given but orders not yet obtained, three day telephone follow up on completed jobs
- Getting familiar with procedure
- Duties will also include shuttling and or arranging third party transport for customers to their homes or offices from time to time.
A vehicle will be provided for shuttle activities.
