ABOUT THIS COOKING ROLE
As a key member of our culinary team, you'll create exceptional meals in a full-service scratch kitchen where every order is cooked fresh and to the residents' preferences. You'll deliver restaurant‑quality dishes across two dining venues and our Bistro, ensuring each plate meets our standards for taste, appearance, cleanliness, and dietary needs. You'll navigate the broiler, grill steaks to perfection, prepare fresh seafood, uphold food sanitation standards, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. With every shift, your work contributes directly to the joy and comfort of our residents.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Current food handler's permit, ServSafe certification preferred
- Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card, or the ability to obtain one
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- A heart for serving
Scratch cooking, short-order line cooking, and baking experience are a plus!
