**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter trespassing and unauthorized access.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or unusual activity observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals.
+ Collaborate with property management and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to residents.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
