SENIOR DETAILER & CHECKER

Our client is currently looking for a Sr. Steel Building Detailer/checker with 10+ years of experience in steel detailing for Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings.

In this role:

You will be responsible for detailing and checking other detailers work for a full range of shop drawing for moderate to high complexity Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) components which includes shop drawings for fabrication of steel members such as built-up steel beams & columns, Cold Formed C & Z members, Material Lists etc.

Responsibilities:
Experience with detailing various complexity details such as Hip/Valley condition, Mezzanines, Stairs, canopies etc.
Standing Seam roof system detailing.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and Design Engineer notes to efficiently and accurately prepare detailed drawings.
Use critical problem solving to derive tolerances and other information from specifications.
Ability to meet deadlines on a regular basis while maintaining an acceptable level of quality.
Capable of accurately checking work of other detailers.

Required Skills:
AutoCAD experience

PEMB industry experience
Extensive knowledge for AISC steel Manual.
Working experience with MS Office and Adobe
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure with satisfactory results with little supervision.

Preferred Skills:

Metal Building Software (MBS)
