Your qualifications and experience:
- Valid teaching certification in special education (State of AZ qualification preferred)
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in resource room environments
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and compliance standards
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, students, and families
- Adaptable teaching style to meet a variety of learning needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering tailored instruction to middle school students in the resource room setting
- Developing, implementing, and tracking progress on IEP goals
- Collaborating with general education teachers to support inclusion and classroom modifications
- Maintaining accurate records and timely IEP documentation
- Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
