Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Travel experience Description: CVICU experience is a plus but not required. Attendance policy allows one call-out per contract; a second requires proper documentation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Weekly orientation provided. This facility is a community hospital and a regional referral center with 171 beds. It is a certified chest pain center and has a trauma level of 3. There are many local attractions, including outdoor recreation such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. Local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries offer a variety of dining options. The area features beautiful mountain ranges with serene lake scenery. It is within driving distance to major cities. The unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Equipment includes Baxter pumps and utilizes Medhost EHR. The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. Candidates should submit a full application, including a resume and skills checklist.
