Midway Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Vehicle Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This is a remote contractor position with potential monthly office visits depending on your location. Ideal candidates are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple tasks, and have strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Location: 100% Remote (potential monthly office visits; depending on location)
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM AZ time (Training: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AZ time)
Pay rate: $20

Duties:

• Enter and update data including names, addresses, account numbers, IDs, prices, and other relevant information
• Process and submit transportation orders via company system

• Follow up to ensure orders are accurate; correct and update any deficiencies

• Create spreadsheets or organize data to track orders

• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls

• Contact external parties to determine status updates, locations, or required information

• Document and communicate orders professionally across systems

• Resolve order processing or data errors

• Perform other duties as assigned by department manager or supervisor

Requirements:

• Stable internet connection with required bandwidth

• Accurate typing and data entry skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Highly adaptable to process and system changes

• Detail-oriented with good judgment and problem-solving skills

• Effective time management and self-starter

• Ability to manage outbound/inbound calls, emails, and messages

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to demonstrate empathy and de-escalate frustrated contacts

• Transportation or automotive experience a plus
