We are a National Contractor with over 15 years of established work in the Phoenix Valley. We do large jobs on megaprojects throughout the region, mostly industrial in nature (semiconductor, data center, large manufacturing, nuclear, water treatment, mining, etc.). Looking for four Project Engineers , ideally someone that has experience with either Electrical (low-voltage) or Mechanical (piping) construction. All local, long-term work
Pay: 100k-125k base before benefits and bonus structure.
Location: two openings initially working TSMC, and two initially working on projects near Queen Creek. No travel outside of Arizona will be required for these roles

Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead engineering activities for construction and mechanical/electrical projects. The role is responsible for coordinating design and construction teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate combines technical competence in mechanical and electrical systems with strong construction engineering experience and excellent communication and project management skills. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering deliverables across mechanical, electrical and construction disciplines throughout project lifecycle.
- Review and validate design drawings, specifications and shop drawings for constructability, compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and proactively address delays or conflicts.
- Manage project budgets, prepare cost estimates and change orders, and support financial forecasting.
- Provide on-site technical support during construction, perform inspections, and resolve technical issues with contractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements, and maintain documentation for permits and approvals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure clear communication and coordinated execution.
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities, including preparation of O&M manuals and as-built documentation.
- Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental procedures on site and in project planning.
- Maintain accurate project records, progress reports and risk registers; escalate issues to project management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil/Construction Engineering or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in project engineering or construction engineering roles; experience with mechanical and electrical systems strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating construction activities and managing contractor interfaces on commercial or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with MEP systems, building codes, industry standards and construction best practices.
- Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Project management capability; PMP, PE, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to job sites and ability to work flexible hours as project demands require.
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass site-specific safety training and background checks.
