Engineering Tech I
The Resort Facilities Maintenance Technician I will support resort operations by performing maintenance tasks including projects preventive maintenance and work orders. This individual must possess and adhere to the following core values:

As a Resort Facilities Maintenance Technician I you will:
- Perform engineering projects guest calls blitzes and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
- Provide general support by performing basic tasks such as painting caulking and wall repairs.
- Perform basic plumbing diagnostics on toilets bathtubs Jacuzzis showers faucets and sinks including unclogging.
- Reset breakers and GFCIs replace light bulbs and measure available voltage using appropriate tools.
- Install and/or replace TVs troubleshoot issues and program remote controls TVs and other electronic devices.
- Diagnose appliances replace minor components and assist with complete replacements as needed.
- Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site.
- Operate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems).
- Communicate professionally through radios phones emails and verbal interactions.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.
- Safely use hand tools power tools and battery-powered tools needed for the job.
- Work using ladders scaffolding lifts and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Follow safety guidelines and practices.
- Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.
- Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution.
- Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.
- Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance attire and behavior.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma required.
- Written and verbal communication in English is required.
- Up to 1 year of experience in Engineering/Maintenance/Trades operations within a resort or commercial environment.
- Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership.
- Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to various tasks perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Regularly the team member must lift move push or pull up to 50 pounds.
